I have had a few broken hearts in my lifetime, and I am sure it will break a few more times as I make more connections with people. I have never been in a romantic relationship so; this isn’t the expected Taylor Swift version of blog posts. Though I haven’t been “in love” with anyone, that doesn’t mean I haven’t loved anyone. My first heartbreak occurred when I was too young to remember. I was born with a congenital heart defect so; I literally have a broken heart. I am fine now; I don’t need any pity party thrown for me. This broken heart has always been a part of me, and I will never have a life without it. On to the emotional side of heartbreak, you know, the one we all expected this post would be about.
